solid wood column flanked by six gracefully curved iron arms, each topped with a
drip-candle stem and bobeche cup. The contrast between the substantial turned wood
body and the slim sweeping ironwork is the design's quiet strength.
Each piece is hand-finished with a deliberately distressed surface — pigment rubbed
into the carved recesses while raised areas wear lighter, mimicking decades of natural
age. Available in three weathered finishes that suit different interior palettes.

Is the column real wood? +
Yes — the central column is hand-carved from solid wood, finished by hand with
a distressed patina. The carving and wood grain are genuine. The arms are wrought
iron with a hand-applied finish that complements the wood column.
What bulb does it take? +
Each of the six arms takes one E12 (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU)
candelabra bulb — the smaller socket size used in chandeliers and
candle-style fixtures, not standard E26/E27. Up to 25W per socket. We recommend warm
white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs for the most period-appropriate glow. Bulbs not
included.
Will my piece look exactly like the photo? +
The silhouette and finish character will match the photographs, but because both
the wood patina and iron finish are hand-applied, the precise pattern of color and
wear varies between units. Yours will be one-of-a-kind — intentional and part of the
antique aesthetic.
Can the chain length be adjusted? +
The standard chain is 30 cm (12") and can be shortened on installation by removing
links. For longer drops — vaulted ceilings, double-height rooms — please contact us
before ordering to arrange a custom chain length.
