Dark Brass · Hand-Blown Amber Glass · 5 Configurations

A traditional chandelier in dark brass with hand-blown amber glass shades — slender scrolled arms curve down from a slim central column, each arm cradling a free-form glass tulip with a ruffled, irregular rim. The amber glass carries warm caramel and tea-stain depth that catches light differently from every angle. No two shades are identical.

The dark brass finish is hand-aged with deeper tones in the recesses, lending a turn-of-the-century character. Available from 5 heads for sitting rooms up to a 12-head two-tier configuration for grand dining and double-height entries — suiting traditional, transitional, and warm-tone modern interiors where a glow of amber light is wanted.

Stacked upper and lower arm tiers, height 105–125 cm. Built for grand dining, foyers, and 9 ft+ double-height spaces.

Which size suits my room? +

The 5-head (∅ 22.8″) and 6-head (∅ 27.6″) suit sitting rooms and dining rooms of 12–18 m² (130–195 ft²). The 8-head (∅ 31.5″) fits 18–25 m² dining rooms. The 9-head and 12-head two-tier configurations (height 105–125 cm) are built for grand dining, foyers, and 9 ft+ double-height spaces.

What does the amber glass look like under light? +

The hand-blown amber glass casts a warm caramel glow — softer and more atmospheric than clear glass, with the irregular ruffled rim throwing light unevenly across the ceiling. The effect is closest to old apothecary or stained-glass lighting, and pairs well with warm-white 2700K–3000K LED bulbs.

Is the Franklin dimmable? +

Yes, with the right bulb. The fixture takes E14 candelabra-base bulbs. Install dimmable LED candle bulbs on a TRIAC wall dimmer and the chandelier dims smoothly.

Why do the amber shades look slightly different from each other? +

Each shade is hand-blown, so subtle variation in the ruffled rim shape, glass thickness, and amber depth is natural. This is the artisanal character of hand-blown glass — no two shades are identical. The dark brass finish is also hand-aged and may carry minor tonal variation.

How is the 9 / 12-head version different? +

The 9 and 12-head versions are two-tier — arms stack in upper and lower rings rather than sitting on a single plane. Total height jumps to 105 cm (9-head) and 125 cm (12-head), so they need 9 ft+ ceilings. The 5–8 head versions are single-tier and suit standard 8 ft ceilings.
