Cast Brass · Cut Crystal Drops · Baroque Acanthus Detailing

A traditional cast-brass chandelier built in the Louis XV / Baroque vocabulary — sweeping S-curve arms decorated with scrolled acanthus-leaf casting, candle cups held aloft on each arm, and tiered crystal pendants suspended from the body and from rosettes along the central column. The crown above the central rod carries openwork cartouches that mirror the leaf detailing on the arms.

The crystal pendants catch light from every direction — both from the candelabra bulbs above and from any natural light passing through the room — refracting it into soft prismatic flickers across the ceiling and walls. Available in five head configurations to scale to your room.

Cast Brass Frame

Traditional cast-brass body with hand-finished acanthus and scrollwork detailing.

Cut Crystal Drops

Tiered crystal pendants refract light into soft prismatic flickers across the room.

Five Configurations

3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 candle arms — choose to scale to your room and ceiling height.

Cast Brass with Clear Crystal

Hand-finished cast brass with darker recesses bringing out the depth of the scrollwork and acanthus detailing, paired with clear cut-crystal pendants throughout. The brass develops subtle patina over years of use, deepening gradually — pairs with cream walls, gilt-frame artwork, and traditional or European-classical interiors.

3 Heads ∅ 56 × H 58 cm ∅ 22" × H 22.8"
4 Heads ∅ 56 × H 58 cm ∅ 22" × H 22.8"
5 Heads ∅ 56 × H 58 cm ∅ 22" × H 22.8"
6 Heads ∅ 65 × H 58 cm ∅ 25.6" × H 22.8"
8 Heads ∅ 83 × H 58 cm ∅ 32.6" × H 22.8"

About the configuration sizes. The 3, 4, and 5-head versions share the same body diameter (56 cm) — they use the same cast-brass frame with progressively more arms populated. The 6 and 8-head versions step up to larger frames (65 cm and 83 cm) to accommodate the additional arms with proper visual spacing. Pick by light output needed and visual density preference, not just size.

Why do 3, 4, and 5 heads have the same diameter? +

The 3, 4, and 5-head versions share the same 56 cm cast-brass body — they use the same frame with progressively more candle arms populated. The 6 and 8-head versions step up to larger 65 cm and 83 cm frames to accommodate the extra arms with proper visual spacing and balance. Choose based on light output needed (more arms = brighter) and how visually dense you want the chandelier to read.

Which configuration suits my room? +

The 3-head suits compact dining rooms, bedrooms, or foyers under standard 8-9 ft ceilings. The 4-5-head are versatile for typical dining rooms and living rooms. The 6-head (65 cm wide) is for larger dining rooms or formal living rooms. The 8-head (83 cm wide) is a statement piece — best for grand foyers, double-height entryways, or large formal dining rooms with 10 ft+ ceilings.

What bulb does it take? +

Each candle arm takes one E12 (North America) or E14 (EU/UK/AU) candelabra base bulb — the smaller chandelier socket, not standard E26/E27. Up to 25W per socket. We recommend warm white (3000K) LED candelabra bulbs in flame-tip shape for the most period-appropriate glow that complements the crystal refraction. Bulbs not included.

Is the crystal real or pressed? +

The pendants are cut crystal — faceted and polished glass crystal that refracts light to produce the prismatic glow effect. This is high-quality decorative crystal suited to the fixture's price and finish, not natural rock crystal (which would be significantly more expensive). The cut pattern and refraction quality is the important factor for the visual effect, and it's well-engineered on this fixture.

How heavy is it? +

Cast brass with crystal pendants is a substantial fixture, particularly the 6 and 8-head versions. We recommend confirming with a licensed electrician that your ceiling junction box and structural support are rated for the load before installation — a standard residential junction box typically supports up to 50 lb, but heavier fixtures may need a fan-rated or reinforced box. Contact us for the precise weight if needed for your installer.

Is it dimmable? +

The fixture itself doesn't dim, but it becomes fully dimmable when paired with dimmable LED candelabra bulbs and a standard TRIAC wall dimmer (both sold separately). Dimming this style of chandelier creates a particularly atmospheric effect — the crystal continues to catch and refract light beautifully even at 30-40% brightness.
