Why don't I receive my order immediately? +
Because every piece of onyx is genuinely unique, we want you to see and choose the exact stone before we ship. Within 1 business day of your order, you'll receive an email with photos of currently available onyx pieces. Once you confirm your favourite, we begin final preparation and ship — usually within 2–3 business days of your confirmation.
What if I don't like any of the stones you send me? +
Let us know — we'll show you the next available batch as new stones come in, or process a full refund if you prefer. Your order is not finalised until you confirm your stone choice, so there's no risk in placing a Universal SKU order.
Can I request specific veining or colour? +
Yes. Add a note at checkout describing your preference: "more veining", "as little veining as possible", "lighter tone", "darker tone", or "more translucent". We'll do our best to match your preference from current stock when we send the photo selection.
Is this real onyx or a stone-look composite? +
It is real natural white onyx — quarried, hand-cut, and finished from genuine stone. The veining, slight translucency when lit, and tonal subtlety cannot be reproduced by composite or printed materials. The cut and finishing is done by hand, which is why each piece is one-of-a-kind.
Which bulb do you recommend? +
A G9 LED bulb in warm white (2700K), at 3–4W. The warm light brings out the natural translucency of the onyx and softens the glass globe's diffusion. Avoid cool-white or daylight bulbs — they fight the natural warmth of the stone.
Is the lamp dimmable? +
Yes — paired with a dimmable G9 LED bulb and a TRIAC-compatible wall dimmer (e.g. Lutron Skylark, Leviton Decora), the Orli dims smoothly. Dimmed light is particularly atmospheric — the warm glow accentuates the stone's veining as it transitions from bright to soft.

How do I clean natural onyx? +
Switch off the wall power and let the bulb cool. Dust with a soft dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a soft cloth lightly dampened with water and a drop of pH-neutral mild soap. Avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon, citrus-based products) which can etch natural stone. Do not use abrasive sponges or polishing compounds.
What if the onyx arrives chipped or cracked? +
Natural stone is carefully packaged but can occasionally be damaged in transit. If your sconce arrives chipped or cracked, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos — we will arrange a replacement promptly. Do not install a damaged piece.
